Great food, sandwiches were huge, eggs were made to perfection, ham was delicious. Coffee was also great, I had to get an extra coffee since it was so good. They have orange juice machine which gives freshly squeezed juice. This restaurant has a small seating area but they have plans to expand. The food and service were so good that they deserve a wait or to sit down even if it's small. Bathrooms was super clean, clean bathrooms say a lot about the way people runa business.

I’m so glad I followed my fellow Yelpers’ advice and tried this place. It’s a small, well-kept gem tucked into an unassuming location. From the outside, it doesn’t look like much, but once you walk in, wow. The ladies working here are incredibly welcoming and immediately make you feel comfortable. There are only two tables and a bar, but somehow it didn’t feel cramped. We ordered the café con leche, the chicken sandwich, and the grilled chicken plate with rice, beans, and sweet plantains. The sandwich is huge and really flavorful. Definitely add the cilantro sauce. It takes it to another level. The standout for me was the sweet plantains. Hands down the best I’ve had since I was a kid in the Philippines. Absolute must try. Overall, an excellent experience.

Hidden gem! Prompt, friendly service. Food hot and fresh. Clean clean clean! Had the Monday special - chicken fricassee with generous portions of black beans and rice (of course). So good, I ordered a Cuban sandwich to go for later (of course). Couldn't resist. No reason to give less than five stars. There are plenty of good, authentic Cuban places like this on Calle Ocho, but only one rates 5⭐. Ody's deserves it, and everyone should try it.

Was looking for a Cuban Cafe with breakfast and found this gem, saw the reviews and decided to try it. It did not disappoint us at all. The breakfast was amazing and so was the Cuban coffee. I would highly recommend and will definitely be back next time I’m here on business!

We just stumbled upon this hidden gem. Rosa took great care of us. She was extremely friendly, accommodating and efficient. We enjoyed their Cuban breakfast. Best Cuban coffee around! Everything about Ody’s is done right.. impeccable service, delicious food, warm/cheerful vibe with tons of heart! Today was our first time here, but certainly won’t be our last. Love this place. You will too!

This was a small, unassuming cafe but the 5 stars hooked us in to trying it. So glad. Fried pork belly and plantains were amazing! The flavors made me think of Guam. The portions are huge! I had the Cuban sandwich and he had the omelet. Did I say large portions?! And don’t forget to get the coffee. Smooth and delicious. I saw someone who got the daily special and I wish I had. She said it was very flavorful.

**A Hidden Gem with Exceptional Food** Clean, welcoming atmosphere with genuinely friendly staff. I ordered the turkey sandwich while my family got the Cubans—both were absolutely delicious and perfectly prepared. The café con leche was honestly one of the best coffees I've had. Rich, smooth, and expertly made. The sides were equally impressive. The tostones were crispy and flavorful with no dryness, and the maduros were perfectly sweet and caramelized. Everything showed real care in preparation. We'll definitely be back!

A Hidden Cuban Gem — Absolutely Insane! Ody’s Cuban Café is next-level. The food is so flavorful and comforting that you honestly feel like you’re eating at a Cuban grandma’s house. The sandwiches are unreal — packed, warm, perfectly pressed, and bursting with that homemade taste you can’t fake. The place might look unassuming from the outside, but don’t let that fool you. This is the kind of spot only locals know about, and the flavor shows it. The staff is genuinely so sweet and welcoming — you walk in and immediately feel taken care of. It’s the kind of hospitality that makes you want to come back before you’ve even finished eating. If you want real Cuban food, made with heart, this place is insane. A total must-try.
